On the evening of April 25, 2013, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico , an unknown object flying at low altitude jetted directly across the Rafael Hernandez airport runway causing an aircraft departure delay. The object was captured by U.S. Customs and Border Protection via an aircraft’s inferred reconnaissance video system. Thermal video was taken from a De Havilland Canada DHC-8 Turboprop aircraft that was controlled by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The video was then obtained by the Scientific Coalition for Ufology, based in Texas, from an anonymous DHS official.
The three minute video detailed the flight of an unknown object that crossed into northwestern Puerto Rico from the Atlantic Ocean, traversed the Rafael Hernandez airport airspace two times, and returned into the Atlantic Ocean where it appeared to repetitively submerge. The authenticity of the video used in this report was corroborated using radar data obtained from the U.S. Air Force (USAF) 84th RADAR Evaluation Squadron (RADES) group. The radar data displayed the tracking aircraft that took the thermal video. All times and locations of the tracking aircraft were consistent with the thermal imaging video on screen data and the USAF 84th RADES group radar information. The authenticity and integrity of the video has recently been 100 percent verified.
